Values ​​of University Students In The Multicultural Context Of Education Research,

With the reform and opening up, foreign exchange continuous in-depth and expansion , multi-cultural exchange and integration has now become an inevitable trend of social and cultural development in our country. Different form the environment with single, stable and closed before, original human values and hegemony cultural has been the challenge of multiculturalism, so that a relatively stable value systems and behavior patterns become increasingly diversified, discrete-oriented, conflict-oriented. In globalization and information technology continues to accelerate and the modern transformation of China's social background of the times, the traditional value system of society and individual behavior severely hit, causing the people's thinking and moral concepts become collision and confusion, still caused a strong impact on social ethics. In face of an avalanche of multi-cultural, college students will have the inevitable multi-value orientation, so the values education of college students still facing a new environment of problems, new situations and new contradictions. How to seek an effective path of values education for college students under multi-cultural background has become an urgent task that colleges and political educator are facing.This study began with the theoretical commutation of multi-cultural and values education and current characteristics in values of contemporary college students, combined with questionnaire, analysis the characteristics and causes of values of contemporary college students, and on this basis, explore the basic principles and effective way about values education of contemporary college under the background of multi-cultural. This research study values education of college students under the background of multi-cultural in the following three parts:Part I: basic research. First is analyses and define the theoretical connotation of values and values education; followed expatiated the meaning of values education, then though the t meaning and character of multi-culture, reveals the reasons why multi-cultural come into being; at last suggest the multi-cultural impact of values education, which establish a solid theoretical foundation of this research.Part II: Research of values education of college students under multi-cultural background. Through the questionnaire survey and analysis, demonstrated the values of college students status quo, summarized the characteristics of college students and according to current situation and characteristics then deeply dig the formation reasons of college students, including object reasons and subject reasons, establish this research on the basis practice of objective reality.Part III: Research of values education Strategies of college students under the background of multi-cultural. First proposed construction of students the basic principles of values education of multi-cultural background, including adhere to the principle of one dominating combining diverse development; in education policy adhere to the principle of national and openness; in education methods adhere to the principle of level and contra pose combining. Second is suggest the basic ways of values education of college students, including the improvement and optimization of ideological and political education, change the teaching philosophy, enrich teaching content, reform the teaching methods, to guide students on the correct choice and use of multi-cultural; give full role play of main channel of ideological and political education, surrounding the core values of the socialist system integrate education and teaching of ideological and political theory lessons; full use network resources carry on ideological and political education, occupation position of campus culture; give full play to the school ,the family and the society, formed the overall power of values education of college students.
