Ideological and political course is common sense of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and the socialist political and ideological and moral education curriculum for students.Any ideological and moral education should be learn basic knowledge. Ideological and political content is by many of the concepts and principles that constitute the body of knowledge. Concept of objective things, reflect the essential characteristics or attributes, are the cells. Any subject is built on a series concept of knowledge systems, including ideological and political course. In a sense, the concept is the cornerstone of the theory of ideological and political course. Cell concept is thought to grasp the concept of the process is to develop students ability to think an important way. The concept of strengthening the ideological and political course of the completion of learning teaching objectives, build knowledge of great significance. But in the current teaching practice, there is desalination of concept learning. Ideological and political course is a basic Marxist concepts and principles of composition, a wide range, the concept is highly abstract, developmental, dialectical and comprehensive, and high school students younger age, social experience shallow, dialectical thinking is weak, difficult to correct completely understand and apply concepts.Firstly, the study was reviewed at home and abroad, and on this basis, explained the concept, concept learning and the basic forms of learning. Gagne on the concept of classification based on ideology, the concept of ideological and political course is divided into specific concepts in the classical concept, operational concept, describe the concept, more concepts. Then it discussed the concept learning of ideological and political course is important to develop thinking skills, complete teaching objectives, construct the systems of knowledge. However, lack to the importance of concept learning, students have the knowledge of the interference, the students one-sided thing way, teaching methods improper, there are some issues such as conceptual confusion, the concept of generalization or narrowing.The new curriculum reforms initiative the idea of the student is the body, make the goal of knowledge and skills, processes and methods, a combination of emotion, attitude and values. The student can construct the knowledge. According to the process and laws of concept learning, teachers teach students the science concept, this is an important way for students to learn concept. Therefore, teachers teach the students to learn the concept considering these thinking features, the experience and the nature of the concept, and use appropriate teaching strategies to help students master the solid foundation of knowledge. Under the guidance of modern learning theory, teachers can adopt strategies to improve the level of concept learning. Teachers, staff from the following aspects:the creation of problem situations can mobilize the enthusiasm of student learning; analysis of key words, use the appropriate prototype and variant, organize discussions with practice, highlighting the essential characteristics of the concept, these can promote conceptual understanding; the concept of deepening the consolidation and development the use of the concept of skills; construct the concept map, to establish the concept of system.
