As administrators in sports team, coaches play a key role in the development of competitive sports. It is one of important human factors in athletic talents cultivation. No matter in sports training, technical guidance, or in the game and daily training management, coaches play an important role. In recent years, scholars' research to leadership is not limited in management science and paradigm of leadership study, instead, their research has penetrated all aspects penetration, such as schools, teams and individuals, etc. With the social economic development and prosperity, the phenomenon that there is lack of leadership in many organizations is becoming increasingly prominent. In this case, there is close relationship between development of the sports team and the coaches' ability in leadership.And coaches'ability in leadership has gradually become an key index to measure a sports team in competitiveness.In sports field, the coach's leadership refers to such actual force, which is produced by coaches' influence on athletes and other related personnel and promote their common goals and implementation. Based on such fact that the coaches' leadership is suffering unprecedented challenges, this study proposes problems of coaches' leadership and relevant research goal. Through the method including literature material, expert interviews and questionnaire survey which make 216 women in Shanghai as investigate objects and using the project analysis and factors analysis of data for statistics analysis, the study verifies the coaches leadership structure dimension constitute and put forward the teaching mode of coaches' leadership to promote its levelThe main conclusions of this study include:(1) Self-making coaches' leadership structure questionnaire of Shanghai has good reliability and validity. The coaches' leadership structure resulted from exploratory factor analysis can be divided into six dimensions:learning ability, achievement motives, motivation, responsibility, decision-making ability and team spirit. This is consistent with our hypothesis.(2) Leadership structure of the coaches on the level of acceptance of each factor are ordered as:team spirit, learning ability, motives, responsibility, decision-making ability and achievement motivation. This shows attention to coaches' leadership is different in different degrees.(3) The study discusses the mode of teaching and training of coaches' leadership, and s designes the basic framework of the training model of coaches' leadership, including training needs analysis, training design, training implementation and training assessment, which provide theoretical foundation for the further training coaches' ability in leadership.
