In recent years, with the popularization of higher education, our master graduate student's enrollment scale is expanding, the problems of master graduate education are increasing. Such as the threshold of master graduate student's enrollment is reduced, education resources are nervous. These problems seriously affected the master graduate student's training quality. So the problem of "How to train a batch of postgraduates" is getting more and more attention, and "How to cultivate" is how to define the training mode of postgraduate education in essentially. At the same time, along with the development of economy, the demands of the society for talents are also increasingly diversified in today, but our existing postgraduate training mode is still focused on cultivating the single academic talents. Apparently this traditional type of talents cultivation can not meet the diverse needs of society and economy, so the reform of postgraduate training mode is imperative.This paper clarifies the connotations and elements of the postgraduate training mode, on this basis, with the multiple intelligence theory as the main guiding ideology, the paper discloses current postgraduate training mode of existing prominent problems, such as enrollment, teaching, graduation are presenting a "mass production"; goals emphasis on academic standards; personal development planning a high degree of unity; the process of fostering ignore difference; enclosed courses and strict credit hinder the development of the master's degree of diversification, assessment with answering primarily, this difficult to truly assessment graduate different skills and expertise.This paper argues that, from the perspective of multiple intelligences, the basic reasons contributing to this problem lies:cultivation standard from social and personal needs; the guiding ideology of cultivation is a single culture; and it too much emphasis on "standard concept", the value of cultivation value quantity neglect quality; the process of fostering management bureaucracy serious.In view of this, it must be from a number of ways to reform postgraduate training mode. First, in ideas, it is necessary to establish a diversified education philosophy, value orientation and humanize management conception. Second, in the cultivation of the standard aspect, it is necessary to give consideration to the social development of external demand and individual development of the internal demand. Third, in the training process, it needs to truly implement individualized from recruitment, training programs, curricula, academic credits and direct ways. Finally, in training assessment, we must take a number of dynamic assessment standards and mechanisms.
