Nowadays people pay more attention to the conversational teaching model, which is an important teaching model to carry out Chinese class. As a teacher I also attempt to fulfill the conversational teaching model when teaching. But the present Chinese class is affected by many aspects, which lead to some problems contradictory to ability-oriented education. Therefore, the connotation of Chinese conversational teaching in senior high school will be re-analyzed according to the present teaching situation, the practice and introspection in my teaching. The transform from theory to practice will be explored, which has great practical and immediate significance for the reform and development of teaching.Many approaches to studying the model such as the case research,Comparison of teaching,experience conclusion,documentary research and so on are used to analyze and probe into the teaching model, appropriate teaching methods and related theory. In this thesis what conversational teaching is and what conversational teaching is are discussed. I tried to make the definition of conversational teaching clear and comb the problems and reasons existing in the teaching practice. In addition, I attempt to put forward some practical advice for it.There are seven parts in the thesis. The history of conversational teaching is looked back and the present significance is stated in the first part. The process and problems of conversational teaching are combed, too. The definition comprehension and distinction are discussed in the second part. The connotation is attempted to reveal and orientation of conversational teaching is explained. At the same time, the research methods and basic thoughts are introduced. The inner mechanism and principle of playing a part are attempted to reveal in the third part. In the fourth part the teaching designs based on problems are illustrated and the connections between problems and conversational teaching are explored. In the fifth part the environmental creation is explored. Then the process to carry out conversational teaching is analyzed in the sixth part. In the last part the present situation of teaching practice is combed and analyzed. What's more, the thoughts and advice are given according to the practice.
