The Research About Characteristics Of Snow Naadam Of Hulunbeier

"Naadam Fair" centers on the traditional Mongolian sports, taking the subjects of religion, costume, architect, food, singing and dancing and poem, being the main entertainment activities as economy, protocal, art and exchange. Until now, Mongolian people gather together to entertain and communicate if only there is a Naadam Fair. Being the main carrier of Mongolian thoughts, habits and culture, Naadam Fair has already been listed as one of the world non-material cultural relics by its unique cultural connotation. Naadam Fair has its own ethnical identity, mass character, competitiveness and cultural identity. Therefore, it has also functioned as military training, cultural transmission, social stability and national unity.Hulunbuir Ice and Snow Naadam is a recreational gathering which mainly focused on the traditional cultures of minority groups such as Mongol, Evenki, Oroqen,Daur and Buriyat. The following thesis mainly discussed sports events such as Sulte Praisal, horse racing, Mongolian wrestling, archery, camel racing, winter swimming, spear technique in the distinct Hulunbui style winter Naadam Fair openning ceremony. By taking a research on them, this thesis tried to show the differences between Hulunbuir Ice and Snow Naadam and Naadam Fairs in other regions and it also displayed traditional cultures reflected by Hulunbuir Ice and Snow Naadam Fair such as Hulunbuir Nomadic life, habits, characteristics of traditional sports and religion.
