China is a country based on agriculture for a long time, which has maintained two traditions:on the one hand, most of people China are peasants, which number is very large; on the other hand, most of the peasants live in developing areas. Rural areas are crucial to our country, no matter for realizing communism, but for achieving the goal of contributing a fairly prosperous and secure society. The development rate of economy in rural areas is related to the quality of the peasants; in order to fulfill the needs of contributing socialist rural areas, we need educated, technologic peasants. That's why peasants'education is very important to developing rural areas.This thesis uses theories of sociology and economics, analyzing the present situations and problems by analysis and comparison in peasants' education. The thesis can be divided into five parts:first, by introducing the background, arguments of this topic and arranging the research condition on this topic in the world, I will make a program for my thesis; second, I will take Henan for example to analyze the situation of peasants' education in developing areas and make a comparison between developing areas and developed areas, for providing some research experiences to my thesis; third, I will analyze an individual case. By analyzing the present situation of peasants' education and quality in Henan Province, I will find the connection between peasants'level, their technology and the quality of their lives; fourth, I will make a conclusion on present situation and problems on peasants' education and analyze the reasons of those problems; fifth, I will give some suggestions to developing areas on peasants' education.This thesis points at the present condition of peasants' education in A county in Henan Province, a representative of developing areas. By analyzing peasants of different ages, I will come to the conclusion that the main problems on peasants' education in this area are lacking of investment and attention. At last,I will give some suggestions, which are not only good for the development of peasants'education, but also significant for the contribution of socialist rural areas.
