Since established in 1998, the major of the primary education in high education institution has been set up for 20 years, and the positive explorations and trails have been carried out in various colleges and universities. There are many types of the training models for primary education in high education institution and which leads to the distinctive training plans in different colleges, and the inconsistency also can been found in the training aim, training standards, core disciplines and course offering as well as the various aspects of the curriculum implement.The combination of the qualitative analysis ant quantitative analysis as the research method has been applied in this paper. With the primary data collected from text analysis, questionnaire investigation and interviews, the questions related to the training plan of primary education of the high education institution have been studied. There are five parts have been discussed in the following.The first part is to introduce the research questions, research background, methodology as well as the meaning of the research.The second part is the literature review of the training plan of the primary education in the high education institution. Some related definitions, e.g. the training plan, the traits and characteristics of the major, the training models, objectives, requirements, as well as the course offering have been presented in the beginning. Then the literatures of the training models, objectives, course offering and training plan as the research questions have been reviewed.The third part is the text analysis of the training plan which is being applied in the major of primary education. Based on 40 pieces of training plans, their texts have been analyzed and the comparative research with the foreign training plan is carried out respectively.The forth part focuses on the implement of the training plan in the primary education in high education institution. With the date collected from the questionnaires and interviews, the situation of the implement of the training plan have been discussed. The last part offers the suggestions which help to perfect the training plan of the primary education and to implement effectively in high education institution. The suggestions referring to three aspects, training model, training objective and requirement, and course offering, are to promote the their implements effectively.According to these above, the overall analysis of primary education major in high education institution have been made. The qualitative studies which investigate the objects of training plan, i.e. teachers and students, can find out the problem, summarize the regulation, and enrich the theoretical research. Using as the reference, it also can perfect the training plan and promote its implement.
