The Research Of Training Scheme Of PE Teachers With Bachelor Degree For Elementary Schools

The training of elementary schools' teachers with bachelor degrees is not only the development trend in the world but also the needs of our domestic economy, society and educational development. However, the situation for PE Education is not optimistic in China and far behind other developed countries. It is also less developed than other educational areas in our own country. Therefore, the research of training of elementary PE teacher with bachelor degrees is valuable both practically and theoretically for reformation and development of bachelor of PE education.Based on the historical review of the training of elementary schools' PE teachers, the comparison of domestic and international training schemes, the feasibility of setting up of PE bachelor degrees for elementary schools is analyzed. Also the placement of the course is discussed. Further, the objectives, standards and scale are defined according to theoretical arguments and objective investigations. Finally, the course system is constructed.The main research methods include literature review, specialist interview, questionnaire, logical analysis and case study. Based on those research methods, PE, education and other related knowledge are integrated together to investigate the training scheme of PE teachers with bachelor degree for elementary schools.The research outcomes could be summarized as follow:1. All relevant aspects of training of elementary schools' PE teachers with bachelor degrees are mature. Therefore the training program is feasible. 2. The course-"Bachelor of PE Education (Majoring in Elementary Schools PE Education)"-is a bachelor degree, majoring in PE and to satisfy the needs for PE teachers of elementary schools.3. The objective of this course is to train elementary schools' PE teachers who are highly qualified and eligible. Their main responsibility is to undertake the PE education and tutor an artistic or general course in elementary schools. They also could be physical director of our society.4. The course is comprised of three kinds of units - compulsory, elective and practical. Compulsory units include public units of education, the foundation units for teachers and specific units for this particular course. Electives include restricted and non-restricted units. The practical units are divided into three parts, namely ideology education, educational practice and research practice.
