Recently, Blog gradually rises as the forth communication tool after the E-mail, BBS, and ICQ. In this context, the Teachers' blogs emerged. Teachers'blogs can not only compensate some shortcomings in the traditional teaching process, play its special role in teaching activities of daily, but also show its application value in extracurricular teaching process, especially provide more effective approach for teacher professional development.Teachers' blogs are the important way to promote teacher reflection, improve teachers' knowledge management ability and education narrative ability, and play an important role in promoting teachers' professional development. Aimed to promote teachers' professional development, the study analyzes the status of Teachers'blogs and advise strategy to develop Teachers' blogs. This study is divided into five main parts.The first part is the introduction, mainly introduced background, reason, aim and meaning of this study.The second part is the elaboration of related concepts, including teachers' professional development and Teachers' blogs.In the third part, firstly introduce the genre and function of Teachers' blogs, then point out that Teachers' blogs are the important way to promote teachers' professional development.In the fourth part, through questionnaire survey and personal interviews, find out a series of problems occurred in the development of Teachers' blogs. For example, Teachers'blogs lack of necessary supervision and management, the concern is not high,the interaction is not enough.In the fifth part, based on the rational analysis, points out the thinking and suggestion of promoting the development of the Teachers' blogs:Teachers'blogs need reasonable positioning and should be correctly guided; the school should encourage teachers to use the Teachers' blogs;the school should provide teachers with more technical, material and time support.
