Project-based learning (PBL) has a long history, just as a teaching model also for several decades. Project-based learning emphasizes learners to real life and learning environment to build knowledge through collaboration and communication to solve practical problems, to complete the task results in order to foster learner problem-solving skills, and team collaboration capabilities. Along with the deep research of cognitive behavior, more and more people confirm the relationship between knowledge and context; the change of the information age also made new demands for the education. More and more people tried to apply PBL in the field of education. After the project-based learning the teacher suggested how this approach can be applied in the normal classes? Identify research topics which the author conducted the following studies:Firstly the author looked up a lot of literatures about project-based learning to learn that: the theory of project-based learning, elements and characteristics, project design and application. Access to a large number of cases among the applications about project-based learning in primary and secondary, focusing on subjects related to the scope of cases, the project design and implementation.Secondly, the author interviewed the experts in the field of basic education and the normal teachers to analyze the project-based learning in teaching application problems at different levels. After that the author selected two representative cases: the UNICEF education project and the Intel Teach to the Future to refine the key elements of the project-based learning design skills and project design in the normal classes. Then the author analyzed The Virtual Classroom Tour (VCT) model as the prototype, adding the key elements from the guidance of interviews and case studies to design the model of micro-project design in normal classes. Finally, the author designed curriculum according to the model of micro-project design in normal classes, and implement the pilot projects at Shanghai new foundation Experimental School in Min hang District. In this process, the author found and solved problems, optimizing the model and proposing the strategy with the model's application in the normal classes.
