The development and progress of human society call for the reform of elementary education curriculum.The new century education curriculum reform advocates changing the traditional teaching model,striving to establish a new elementary education curriculum system which meets the requirements of quality education in China.Project-Based Learning focuses on the cultivation of students' ability,meeting the requirements of quality education,which has been vigorously promoted and applied in modern vocational education and adult education.Because of its difficulty,heavy knowledge load,long cycle implementation,and poor teaching effect,the Project-Based Learning is not well developed in the regular classroom teaching in elementary education.Micro-Project-Based Learning is a new type of teaching model,which combines the "professionalism" of Project-Based Learning with "micro" of Micro-Lecture.Based on the Project-Based Learning and the Micro-Lecture theory,combined with a large number of teaching practice,and on the basis of designing and perfecting the teaching mode of Micro-Project-Based Learning,this paper chooses two parallel classes of Nanchang Experimental Secondary School in Jiangxi Province to carry out teaching experiment.The researcher adopted the Traditional Teaching Method in the controlled class and the combined teaching mode of the Micro-Project-Based Learning and the Traditional Teaching Method in the experimental class,to explore the effects of Micro-Project-Based Learning in Biology Teaching in Secondary School.Through three months' experimental teaching,using self-compiled questionnaires and test questions to test students' Biology proficiency,cooperation ability,biological information literacy,biological learning attitude,self-management ability,language expression skills of the two classes.Then the data was analyzed and processed by means of SPSS18.0,independent t-tests were conducted to see the differences between students' knowledge ability,emotional attitudes and values.Combining the results of data analysis with the teaching problems,students in the experimental class were randomly selected to do hierarchical interviews through QQ.Thus,the teaching effects were verified while the researcher was reflecting on the problems in the teaching process.The results are as follows:(1)Micro-Project-Based Learning has a significant effect on improving students' Biology proficiency.(2)Micro-Project-Based Learning has a significant effect on improving students' cooperation ability.(3)Micro-Project-Based Learning has a certain effect on improving the students' biological information literacy.(4)Micro-Project-Based Learning has no significant effect on improving students' self-management ability.(5)Micro-Project-Based Learning has no significant effect on improving students' language expression skills.(6)Micro-Project-Based Learning has a certain effect on improving the students' biological learning attitude.The above results are of great significance to deepen the reform of Biology teaching in Secondary Schools and to further improve the Micro-Project-Based Learning theory.
