20 years, China's vocational education has made a historic development, cultivated a large number of application-oriented talents for society, gradually move from the edge of education policy to the center. However,since vocational education has a short history in our country and under the attack of traditional culture and educational concept, it has developed with difficulties. Therefore, research on vocational education has a very important practical significance.Firstly, the paper gives a brief overview on the issues related to vocational education, through comparing and analyzing overseas major developed countries'vocational education, recognizing that introduce China's vocational education to a healthy and scientific development path is the importance and difficulty of present Vocational Education Reform.Then, according to the students and employers that received graduates of Zhangzhou Vocational and Technical College, through the methods of questionnaires and interviews, making an empirical study about the status of vocational education's evaluation, receiving the following results: (1) Running modes stick to the employment-oriented, industry-university links closely, but the initiative of enterprises is not high. Running modes should make full use of educational resources and conditions, promote school-enterprise to develop a deep cooperation and run schools openly; (2) Grasp the heavy and difficult of teaching contents clearly, combine knowledge transfer with capacity-building, but take more attention to science and contempt arts. Design teaching contents should be aim to real teaching environment, quality of teachers and the actual needs of students; (3) Teaching methods can mobilize students'enthusiasm and go-aheadism to participate in teaching activities, but the emotional exchanges of teachers and students is relatively reduced. Implementation of teaching methods should focus on communication and interaction between teachers and students, inspire students to think; (4) Student managements overemphasize institutional constraints, ignore the autonomy of students. Student managements should be humanized, highlight the "strict, detailed"; (5) Social adaptability reflects in the high employment rate, high social and economic benefits. If vocational education wants to meet the social development, it should be based on production and technological progress, timely and reasonably to adjust the educational structure.Thirdly, combine the above evaluation results with overseas development experiences, explore reform direction about present running modes, teaching contents, teaching methods, student managements and social adaptability of vocational education, put forward to construct path-chosen analysis of domestic vocational education development. Fourthly, in view of the research conclusion,proposed that strengthen the faculty construction of vocational education, build long-term school-enterprise cooperation dynamic mechanism, increase the funds intensity into vocational education, complete perfect laws and regulations to protect the development of vocational education.
