| From 1980s, Legal education of university students has been the important part of the Marxist ideological political education which is the integral part of our educational system. In recent years, especially the new century, with the concept "rule of law", "legal society" in depth people's consciousness and the promotion of reform in education, the development of economic is bound to demand high-quality talented person. There are more and more people pay close attention to legal education of university students from all aspects and different angles. In general, by means of legal education of university students, most students have been to be law-abiding, exercise their rights and fulfill their obligations, so they have conformation a certain legal consciousness. we can see that legal education of university students have gained great achievement; but the social and historical value of law can not be successfully translated into the goals which students are pursuing, many students can not continuously regard the legal consciousness as his principle in his social life, so legal education of university students still have many shortcomings.During the building of socialist legal system, the work of legal education of university students and cultivate the university students'legal consciousness should become an important task in education. As a member of university students, medical university students not only have general character with other university students, but also have their own character in the aspect of legal education. Curative activity requires communicating with people, it accentuate the exercising of rights and fulfilling of obligations, so it can show the importance of legal education even more.This paper has a foothold on medical university, and takes the status of medical students'legal consciousness as a starting point for extending the importance of legal education students. This paper will by way of investigation of the present situation of university students'legal consciousness to illustrate how important the legal education of university students is. This paper will introspect the deficiency of legal education in the medical university students'cultivation and then find the deficiency of legal education, and to bring up measures to innovate legal education. I hope this paper can provide some useful reference for university students' legal education and give some new ideas for the talents training.Based on the survey, we analyzed the current state of the medical students' legal consciousness, that their consciousness of the law has significantly increased, but they can't put the consciousness into practice, the law has not been formed beliefs; students possess the necessary legal knowledge, but generally not meet the needs, students' legal knowledge is not enough, and they demand to reform legal education. Therefore, in order to improve the legal consciousness of students, university students' legal education must be strengthened and intensify the reform of legal education.
