Studies On College Students’ Legal Education Under The Dimension Of Ideological And Political Education

The fourth plenary session of the 18th Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee announced to comprehensively build a country under "the socialist rule of law,examined and approved the Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on Certain Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Advancing the Law-Based Governance,and proposed to"to promote the public awareness of rule of law,to enhance the building of a law-based society,to improve team building and to sharpen the CPC’s leadership in pushing forward rule of law,and include it into the content of legal education into national educational system and cultural and ideological progress." The subject foundation of law-based governance is citizens with law-based quality.The key of improving citizen’s legal quality is education.Thus legal education should should be most important procedure in legal construction.Among the population of legal education objects,college students,the special group,should be the priority among priorities considering they will bring about huge impact on Chin’s law-based governance progress.Due to influences from other factors,there exist some problems of the position,form,and effect of contemporary college students’ legal education.Strengthening the education of legal concept is the first task of ideological and political education among universities.Effective integration of legal education and ideological and political education is of necessity and urgency,but also of great realistic significance and pertinence.This article has comprehensively use theoretical analysis method,literature research method,and multidisciplinary cross-over study method to elaborate the research background,research significance,research methods and mentality of integration of legal education and ideological and political education.The article has also introduced the theoretical basis of paper study,illustrated connotations of law-based governance,legal system,ideological and political education and Four Comprehensives.,analyzed the policy spirit of national documents on legal education and ideological and political education,and the relationship between both.In addition,the article has pointed out the necessity,and urgency of integrating legal education with ideological and political education,and pointed out some problems existing in current college students’ legal education.At last,the article has specifically proposed next-step research direction,innovations and difficulties based on the approaches and countermeasures of integrating legal education with ideological and political education.
