| The ancients said:"The great attribute of heaven and earth is the giving and maintaining life." No matter it is Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008, or Japan Earthquake just happened, every natural disaster warns us of the fragility and preciousness of lives. However, with the society progress and development, the factors threatening the life safety is increasing. Therefore, the life safety is becoming the focal problem in current society.As a special group, vulnerable students in middle and primary school are immature physically and mentally and have not the ability to protect themselves and handle emergencies, and the challenge to life safety is becoming progressively greater. Taking the frequent natural disasters and the increasing cost of life safety into consideration, the education of life safety of students in middle and primary school is proposed. The best time for children to learn knowledge of natural disasters and the damages is when they are still in school. If we are able to understand that we are in an environment lurking disasters and realize and know these disasters threatening our lives, we must tell the younger generation clearly that how to decrease and avoid the damages the disasters cause.Based on the cases study, this thesis consists of four parts. First, the thesis reviews the previous study thoroughly, and analyses deeply the theoretical basis of education of life safety for students in middle and primary school. The contents and goals of this education are given according to the features of students in middle and primary school and middle school and primary school. Second, in view of the complexity and typicality of the education practice of life safety in earthquake area, Wenchuan is chosen as a case to cover fully the status of education of life safety by interview, observation and questionnaire. Third, the material and data collected in the research reveal and analyze the problems in education of life safety in middle and primary school of Wenchuan. These problems are the vague understanding of education contents, formalization and the lack of features. At last, based on the facts in Wenchuan area, the detailed policies which involve the idea that nature and humanity are co-existing harmoniously, remodel the orientation that education guards life, and act according to different locality and time are put forward to provide reference for the improvement of safety education in middle and primary school in earthquake areas and the research of other scholars and the practice acted by schools of other areas. |
