With the development of the information society and the deepening of new curriculum reform, the traditional teacher's authority has been challenged. How to remodel teacher's authority which is important to the education. It is undoubtedly an important topic to the current education practice and research on education theory. As a case of X middle school, this paper use the literature and investigation methods to research how to reshape the teacher's authority. This paper is divided into the following several parts:The first part, Preface. It expounds the relevant research background, cause of issue selection, correlative status from domestic and abroad and this study significance, basic thought and mean.The second part, Investigate and analysis the status and misunderstanding of the teacher's authority in X Middle school. under the background of new curriculum reform., the status of Teacher authority are mainly embodied these aspects:symbolic and Charismatic authority weakened; Teacher's knowledge authority is not obvious. The misunderstanding on teacher's authority mainly displays in these aspects:part of teachers understand fuzzily; Partial teachers for their own authority inappropriate application; Partial teachers lack of personality charm.This third part, the author systematically analysis the teacher's authority current situation and existing error causes in X middle school, Mainly from the subjective and objective aspects, subjective reasons include:some teachers lack of correct understanding of authority, Part of the teacher's literacy is not high and it caused teachers have difficulty in the establishment of the authority, Objective reasons include:the view of modern students bring new challenge to the view of teacher's authority, The development of the information society virtually impacted teacher authority, the concept promotion of the new curriculum is changing teacher's authority concept.The fourth part, based on the author's investigation and relevant theories research, the author discussed connotation and the characteristic of the teachers' authority under the background of new curriculum, teachers' authority necessity and teachers' authority reflects theoretical discussions.The fifth part, Put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions of rebuilding their authority in X middle school:Strengthen relates institutional change and establishes the social atmosphere of respecting teacher; School sets to create good conditions for building teacher's authority; strengthening teacher's transformation, establish the authority image in the student mind.
