Play is valuable and meaningful to the development of children. This point of view is generally certificated by the expert and specialist from the field of education. " The kindergarten should adopt the Play-based teaching model." was advanced in the rulebook of preschool education in 2001. However, in the practice of education many problems interrupt the execution of the advanced theory. For example:How to translate the ideology into action? The theory of playful learning and teaching reveals that we should integrate the form, the element, especially the spirit of the play into the learning and teaching of the preschool. The children are expected to enjoy the learning with pleasure, freedom as well as independence. It appears that the confusion between the ideology and the action will be resolved.This study adopted qualitative research method including natural observation, interview method and text-analysis. Through the observation to the teacher's and the children's behavior and the interview to the teacher's educational concept, some problems being in the daily education in the kindergarten and the reasons which result in the problems are all analyzed.The purpose of this research is to point out the directions, make suggestions and give guidance for the implement of the "playful learning and teaching". Theoretic and practical profitable enlightenment is also expectative function.This study includes five parts:Preface, this part includes the concepts:Play, Preschool instruction, Teaching games and Playful Learning and Teaching and the raising questions, reviewing relative literature, demonstrating the value, presenting research consideration, forecasting the difficulty and introducing the use of research methods.The first part is "The theoretic research of Playful Learning and Teaching". In this part, the characters that Playful Learning and Teaching should have, are advanced and analyzed. The second part is "The actuality of Playful Learning and Teaching in kindergarten". This part is to reflect the truth and summarize the problems through the investigation about the teaching phases: arrangement, development and latter end.The third part is "The factors that in the way of Playful Learning and Teaching". This part discusses the force of kindergarten environment, preschool teachers, the educational views of parents and society, as well as how they influence the preschool education.The forth part is "the approaches to carry out Playful Learning and Teaching". On the base of part two and part three, four approaches to carry out Playful Learning and Teaching are put forward and demonstrated adequately.The fifth part is "summarization and argumentation. This part aims to elicit a holistic conclusion about this study. The more important is to review the disadvantages in this research to enlighten the further study in future.
