Along with the development and advance of curriculum reform of basic education in China, people are increasingly cognizant of importance of classroom teaching structure of Chinese in middle school (CTSC) to the whole reform of Chinese education. Teaching is the key point for the whole reform of Chinese curriculum in middle school, meanwhile, CTSC is the core and nitty-gritty of it, and reasonable and optimal CTSC has a direct impact on the improvement of teaching quality and efficiency. This paper aims at exploring reasonable and optimal CTSC, so as to fit for development of social economy, politics and culture better; and combing change courses of CTSC for the sake of grasping change characteristics of each historical period and excavating their contemporary value.This thesis can be divided into the following four parts:Partâ… , Introduction. To present the genesis, literature review, purposes and significance, idea and methods of this research.Partâ…¡, Background analysis of CTSC reform since the establishment of new China. Background analysis consists of four aspects:political background analysis since the establishment of new China, which covered the period of thirty years after liberation and that of since the implementation of reform and opening-up policy; economic background analysis; historical and cultural background analysis; and educational background analysis.Partâ…¢, Transform course of CTSC since the establishment of new China. It includes the following stages:CTSC under the background of curriculum reform from 1946 to 1965; curriculum reform of basic education and CTSC during the Cultural Revolution from 1966-1976; CTSC under the background of curriculum reform from 1976 to 1984; CTSC under the background of curriculum reform from 1985 to 1998; CTSC under the background of curriculum reform from 1999 up to now. Based on analysis of each stage, some typical cases of CTSC were illustrated and clarified.Partâ…£, Transform characteristics of CTSC and their contemporary value. Transform characteristics were explained from four aspects, including student-oriented and teacher-dominant integration and unification of teaching and learning; knowledge learning as the key point and giving consideration to all-round development of students' ability; teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and integrating individual development and whole improvement; flexibility of teaching structure and existence between changes.Contemporary value include:influence on education idea of Chinese in middle school, effect on how to improve students' learning ability, impact on teacher's improvement of teaching professionalism and application of modern teaching means.
