Along with the increasing female blogs, female citizen are coming into a new age named 'group'. The expansion of female group blog brings a large social and economic benefits that can not be ignored.Blog groups is an complicated network, formed by linking,quoting,commenting and leaving message at different blogs. It's a new form of expression for social network. And female blog group is one of them. At present, there's no a clear definition of female group blog. Generally speaking, it's a website, based on female blogs, managing and organizing them. Female group blog can be divided into two kinds:independent female group blog and subordinate female group blog, most female blogs in China can be classified into later one. It's a commercial media, combining the characteristics of individual's media and commercial portal site.The theme of this thesis is to research female group blog in the theoretical frame of communication and feminism. Emphasis is laid on the study of female group blogs' present situation,spreading features,limitations and development trend, analysis its universality and particularity.According to the study, we find that female group blog has the functions of information communication,virtual community,meeting user's self-expression needs,guiding consumption,build gender consciousness and so on. Regarding to communication character of female group blog, its information is mutual and bilateral, its users are no rational, its audiences are specific, its effort is complicated. The study proves that female group blog is the common result of internet media and audiences' selection.However, the present status of female blog in China is a small group and surviving on the margins of society. To find the reason, we research the blogs in Netease and Sohu these three main group blog, analysis the gender politics, character and meaning of communication. Based on above analysis, we conclude the limitations of female group blog are strong womanliness of the content, rigid image showed by blog, irregular update, homogenization and obvious consumerism.Based on study to the structure and content of communication, we prove:female blog group can not faithfully represent female; it can not establish a fine interactive mechanism between female users and female blog groups; most female blog group in China are surviving on the margins. All above problems are caused by a series of deep-rooted contradictions, and power is the focal point of contradictions. To become a true female blog group, there is still a long way to go. In a word, the main factor that hinder development of female blog group is the control of capital.The development of female group blog also is the future of female media. With the innovation of Internet Technologies, improvement of feminism and progress of human being, gender equality and harmonious will be the main character of female group blog...
