On Relationship Between Community Leisure Sports Facilities Accessibility And City Residents Participation

With the social and economic development, leisure became an integral part of people's lives. Participation in leisure sports directly affects the quality of life. Although China has increase leisure sports facilities all over the country, the lack of facilities and time still on the way of resident s'taking part in Leisure sports. For a better understanding of the relationship between accessibility of community leisure sports facilities and city residents participation in leisure sports and improve the use of community leisure sports facilities, writer picked up samples in leisure sports facilities, of different scales, from different communities in Nanshan, Futian and Luohu districts of Shenzhen, use statistical software to analysis relationship between accessibility of community leisure sports facilities and city residents participation in leisure sports. Accessibility of community leisure sports facilities includes two factors:facilities' attraction and transportation, city residents participation in leisure sports includes the time spent and money spent. And openness of community leisure sports facilities and personal characteristics affect both the community leisure sports facility accessibility and city residents participation, so we put these two factors into the research system, and thus show more precision relationship between community leisure sports facility accessibility and city residents participation in leisure sports. The result of samples study which chosen from three districts of Shenzhen shows that relationship between Shenzhen community leisure sports facilities accessibility and residents participation is in a significant level. Improvement of community leisure sports facilities accessibility can effectively promote city residents participation and raise use of community leisure sports facilities.
