College students are talents for national and social development.Their healthy physique is related to the future of the country and the nation. However,in recent years, the "physical health test data of Chinese college students" shows that the physical quality of college students has declined seriously and the physical health problems are serious.College sports facilities are the basis for colleges and universities to carry out various sports activities and the guarantee for college students to carry out physical exercise.Their accessibility is closely related to college students’ participation in physical exercise. However,in the trend of humanism today, the relationship between people and things is becoming more and more complex, and the influence of individual perception on behavior is prominent. Therefore, starting with the subjective perceived accessibility, this paper analyzes the relationship between the perceived accessibility of college sports facilities and college students’ participation in physical exercise. From the perspective of perceived accessibility, this paper puts forward practical suggestions for the allocation and layout of sports facilities in Colleges and universities and the participation of college students in physical exercise.Based on this, this paper conducts a questionnaire survey on college students from Chongqing University,Southwest University,Chongqing Normal University,Chongqing Industrial Vocational and Technical College and Chongqing Engineering Vocational and Technical College in Chongqing.Based on the data collected, the relationship between college students’ perception of physical facility accessibility and participation in physical exercise was explored.Among them, sports facility perception accessibility includes three dimensions: traffic perception, space perception and safety perception. To further analyze the specific effects between the perception of physical facility accessibility and the degree of student participation in physical exercise,a group regression analysis targeted influencing factors such as sex and specialty.According to the above research design and investigation and analysis, the main conclusions of this study are as follows: First, there are differences in perceived accessibility level of sports facilities among students of different levels, and there is a difference in perceived accessibility level between students of "985" engineering college and students of higher vocational colleges at 5% statistically significant level.Secondly, the level of college students’ participation in physical exercise in Chongqing is low, with 70% of the students being sedentary, and there are differences in the level of students’ participation in physical exercise of 5% among different school levels, majors, academic qualifications and exercise periods.Thirdly, the perceived accessibility of sports facilities and its perceived dimensions are positively correlated with college students’ participation in physical exercise, and improving the perceived accessibility of sports facilities can improve students’ participation in physical exercise.Fourthly, the influence of perceived accessibility on exercise participation is different for different groups, especially for female students, doctoral students, students majoring in humanities and social sciences, and students who are not attending physical education class.Based on the research results, this paper puts forward the following suggestions:first, provide targeted construction requirements and support policies for colleges and universities at different levels to improve the perceived accessibility of college sports facilities.Second, pay attention to students’ participation in physical exercise, provide corresponding courses, places and equipment, and improve students’ participation in physical exercise.Third, starting from the three dimensions of perceived accessibility of sports facilities, increase supply, optimize transportation, strengthen safety, and help students participate in physical exercise.Fourth, formulate and implement differentiated arrangements for different student groups, consider the differential impact of perceived accessibility of sports facilities on the participation of different student groups in physical exercise, reasonably arrange the location of school buildings, and improve the participation level of college students in physical exercise.Novel coronavirus pneumonia is limited by social resources, research costs and normalization of prevention and control of new crown pneumonia. This study still lacks in the selection of samples and population in order to solve the problem in subsequent studies.
