New curriculum reforms emphasize that the teaching of the content comes from the practice of social life; social life is the inspiration and material for school education, thus there is a mutually reinforcing relationship between teaching and social life. This paper explained the life-oriented teaching of ideology and politics with four steps. The life-oriented teaching of Ideology and Politics has a major task to ask the teachers organize a variety of teaching activities center on daily life on basis of the students' existing experience about their own life, which can increase their ability of participating in social life and affairs that can lay a foundation for the students' comprehensive and sustainable development. So, to explore life-oriented teaching of ideology and politics is very necessary.At first, defined the life-oriented teaching of ideology and politics:life-oriented teaching is a teaching situation of circumstances in the background of life which bases on the respect for the law of the students' understanding, it emphasizes on students' life experience to promote the students' ability of transforming the knowledge in the book into practice; the new curriculum standards advocates teachers to make reasonable use of teaching materials and use an lively presentation to make a connection between the textbook and the students' daily life to achieve the goals of moral education effectively.secondly, specifically addressed the necessity of life-oriented teaching in the ideology and politics; on one hand, the students in high school has a development of knowledge, self-awareness and values showed a more obvious characteristic, which lay a foundation for the development of concept of life-oriented teaching; on the other hand, the new curriculum standards emphasis on the life to the students, which also based on the existing experience the students had, in the meantime, it strives scientific theory outlined in knowledge in the community environment and promotes the teaching to development of the model of the life-oriented teaching.thirdly, Discussed how to practice the idea of life-oriented teaching in the ideology and politics:Firstly, the scene of the lives that students familiar with is quoted to stimulate the interest of students, so that students cannot wait to enter the classroom; secondly, we must study to experience life, cooperate with others and explore, we also must encourage students to observe, operate, discuss, question and explore, so that to develop their pragmatic attitude and innovative spirit; thirdly, we must study to feel life, summarize the evaluation of others, take the form of a variety of evaluation tools and encourage them to pursue the aspirations of the new target; fourthly, we must practice, enjoy life and teach students the indirect experience into direct experience and thereby this is conducive to enhancing the knowledge and application ability of students to promote the growth of the students.Finally, this paper described how to improve the teaching ability of implementing life-oriented teaching:firstly, the teachers of Ideology and Politics should replace the theory of teaching, assimilate and apply advanced ideas of education, as well as build a new relationship between the teachers and students; secondly, the teachers should establish a reasonable knowledge structure, update the content of their knowledge constantly and optimize the structure of knowledge before; thirdly, the teachers should promote the development of teaching as well as research, for teachers must be one who have ability to do some research of the teaching skills of Ideology and Politics; fourthly, the teachers should develop their spirit of cooperation inquired, which mainly means making a good communications with students and other teachers.
