| In July 2001, Chinese Course Criteria of the Full-time Compulsory Education promulgated by Ministry of Education of the state clearly pointed out that Chinese Comprehensive Learning, which is conducive to enhance Language Literacy comprehensively in independent activities that students are interested in and which is an important way to train students to take the initiative to explore,to unite and cooperate,to innovate, should be strongly advocated.The Criteria also Proposed that Comprehensive Learning should put into the language curriculum as an important part of the language course.with "read and write", "reading","writing", "oral commu-communication". Since then, began to take place in courses system of primary and secondary school.Chinese textbooks published by Shanghai Education Press for junior high school as one of the representative experimental teaching materials in new reform,has done some beneficial attempt and exploration in the design of the Comprehensive Learing. The paper, as a breakthrough of it, using literature research method, content analysis and case studies, try to systematically,closely,comprehensively analyzes rules and characteristics of the textbook in the development of the Comprehensive Learning and Find insufficient to promote the development of the part more perfectly.This paper altogether consists of four chapters. The first Chapters is an introduction. It has an overview of topics from the origin and significance of the study, the object of study, scope and methods, research status, the core concept,and so on;The second chapter is the theoretical basis, which has an brief introduction of cognitive psychology,the process model,knowledge taxonomy, theories of constructivism and the revelation on the development of the Comprehensive Learning; The third chapter is analysis of the development of the Comprehensive Learning. This chapter mainly analyzes the planning of structure and content, topics design and presentation of the Comprehensive Learning part. summarize laws and characteristics and evaluate strengths and weaknesses;The fourth chapter mainly summarizes characteristics of the development of the Comprehensive Learning part, identifies the problems and puts forwardn some suggestions for improvement.Through analysis, the author summarizes that the development of the Comprehensive Learning part of the textbook shows four major features:highlighting the subject; the pursuit of comprehensive, focusing on life, reflecting the flexibility. Meanwhile, the author finds some problems about the development of the part: Excessive number of the comprehensive learning activities affect the quality of implementation, activities,lack the necessary guidance of methods and procedures, similar themes of the set of textbook isn't systematic and holistic and other issues, And proposed some suggestions:the capacity of Comprehensive Learning materials should be appropriate, enhance operational activities, handle the relationship between the Comprehensive Learning and Writing correctly and strengthen the proportion of oral communication training and so on. |
