The new curriculum reform requires that secondary education laid the foundation for comprehensive training and innovative talent. Curriculum integration has become one of the new trends in curriculum. The geography subject has inherent advantages in raising students' comprehensive ability and innovation capacity because of its comprehensive discipline nature. Mathematics as a scientific language and a most basic tool subjects, is the most powerful tool to study many related disciplines, and mathematical way of thinking which the essence of mathematics is. A large number of difficulties in the high school geographic volume I, have closely linked with the mathematical way of thinking, but in the actual teaching process have not been put to good use. Therefore, this paper aims to make a useful exploration in discipline infiltration between high school geographic teaching and mathematical thinking. This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is an introduction. First, this paper outlines the reasons put forward. Then, through comparative study of the literature defines the meaning of'mathematical way of thinking' and 'discipline infiltration'. Finally, the study briefly discusses the necessity and the major research methods. The second part is the main body of this paper. First, through reading and research on education, psychology, the author justifies a theoretical basis for discipline infiltration, and analyzes the feasibility of the implementation. And from three aspects, including related research, questionnaire analysis of teachers and students, the author analyzes the status. Finally, though in-depth study of the Shanghai high school geographic volume I, the author compiles the specific content of infiltrate mathematical thinking and gives specific case studies. The third part is summary. Discusses the problems needed to be taken into consideration when we infiltrate mathematical way of thinking into geographic teaching, and put forward proposals to resolve. Finally, the author summarizes the entire paper's research, analyzes the deficient of the research, and hopes to make further research in the future study and practice.
