With the development of China's industrialization and urbanization, urban labor shortage is more and more obvious. Meanwhile, our country develops the service industry vigorously. More and more peasants come to cities for work opportunity. The large population migration brings a lot of social problems, among which migrant children's health and education problem caused the whole society extensive attention. Nowadays our country's youngsters are experiencing health poor situation. We should pay more attention to the children of the city migrant, which is not only the further research on urban migrant workers, but also the important part of effectively improve China's young physique health. Childhood is the key stage, deciding their whole lives' physical health. But as the restriction of the local household, migrant children cannot enjoy the equivalent right as the urban children, such as medicine, sanitation, education and public services. Though rural migrant workers have already caused the government's attention and their living conditions have been improved much, compared with the original urban population, there is still a large gap, which means the quality and the way of urban migrant children's life are different from the original urban children.This study takes the migrant workers'children and city school-age children of shanghai as the research object. By comparing and analyzing the research object's physical health, living habit and health knowledge, we will reach the following conclusion:1.There is no significant difference in height between school-age children of migrant workers in SH and urban children. But the mean weight of children of migrant workers is significantly lower than urban children; urban children's BMI index is significantly higher than school-age children of migrant workers too.2.here are visible differences in body shape between school-age children of migrant children learning in SH public schools and private schools. The average height of students in private elementary school is slightly higher than those in public schools while the weight index is lower. The BMI index of school age children of migrant workers in public schools is significantly higher than those in private schools.3.As to physical quality, the quality of the Shanghai urban children flexibility, coordination, overall is better than school-age children of migrant workers, while the limb strength, explosive force of migrant children of school-age is better than children in big cities. There is no significant difference in vital capacity index and endurance.4.School-age children of migrant workers in Shanghai has significantly lower rates of overweight and obesity than urban children, but the boys of migrant workers has already been at the same high level.5.The physical activity time of Shanghai migrant school-age children was significantly more than urban children, but health habits, medical habits are less than urban children.6.In the side of food intake, urban children are more frequently than Shanghai migrant school-age children at the frequency of take in protein and fatty.
