The main objective of this study is to make up a learning habits scale which is used for junior middle school students. This scale could provide scientific basis for students learning habits evaluation. So that students could see their own advantages and disadvantages and identify a clear improvement in the direction. Furthermore, teachers and parents could have a deep understanding of student learning habits, and make pointed habits training.On the basis of profound literature investigation, we fixed on the primary structure and content for the learning habits scale. After testing for 2 times at Pudong district in Shanghai, the structure of this scale was confirmed and the formal scale was developed. Using the 5794 valid data we collected from the second test, the scale's items, reliabilities and validities were tested by various measurement indexs.This Study acquires the results as follows:1. The learning habits scale for junior middle school student is composed by 4 subscales with 18 items.4 subscales are named as preparation habit, listening habit, review habit and homework habit.2. Item's research shows, the discrimination of the scale's items is fine.3. Reliability's research shows, the scale's consistent reliability reaches a good level, in accord with the request of the psychological examination.4. Content validity's research shows, this scale reach a fairly good content validity.5. Application research of the scale shows, most junior middle school students have good learning habits. Both gender and grade have significant influences in learning habits.
