Physics self-efficacy scale of junior middle school students is composed of general physicstask efficacy scale and special physics task efficacy scale. The special physics task efficacy iscomposed of “knowledge and method learning efficacy”,“applying efficacy,“experimental skillsefficacy” and “scientific inquiry efficacy”. By analyzing the reliability of the scale, the internalconsistency reliability is0.942, which shows the reliability of the scale is good. The scale alsohas good construct validity as for factors analysis. The analysis above shows that this is an idealscale to conduct survey.The scale used investigated the level of the physics self-efficacy for junior middle schoolstudents in Ju County. The results show that the average score of junior middle school students inphysics self-efficacy is86.01. When the number of the item is divided by the average score oneach dimension, the result is between2.86and3.27(the score range from1to5). From the fullscale and the two components of the table, the junior school students have no significantdifference in terms of gender and grade.“Knowledge and method learning efficacy”,“applyingefficacy,“experimental skills efficacy” don not have significant difference in gender and grade.However, the “scientific inquiry efficacy” of boys is higher than those of girls, and the differencebetween different grades is of no significance.
