Analysis Of Middle School Students' Learning Interest In Information Technology Courses And Explore Training Strategy

Nowadays information technology is the most active factor to promote social and economy, it's also essential skill that people living in digital world must gain. Education of information technology in Middle School not only reserves of talent for the development of IT, but also teaches students how to use information technology to better survive and develop, and IT education is also an important aspect of quality education.In this paper, I observed students and IT teachers from Guilin first middle school, I researched and analyzed relevant literature on information technology education in secondary schools and interest in learning, and then I used the results as this paper's theoretical basis. I designed a questionnaire which took into account many respects like current situation of middle school students'interest in learning Information technology, current situation of middle school Information Technology Education, the requirements of the new curriculum reform, the needs of social development and, etc. Then I conducted a survey of middle school students'interest in learning information technology courses. After analyzing the result of survey, I found that many factors of information technology education will affect the students'interest in learning IT, such as teachers, students themselves, teaching content, teaching methods, environment. After further analyzing the factors that will affect the interest in learning IT of middle school students, integrating the reality of IT education in middle school with information society's requirement of talent, I proposed strategies of how to improve the students'interest in learning Information technology courses, hoping to help middle school teachers to improve students'interests in learning information technology.
