The new standard of geography has a new stipulation that highlights students’main position, and improves the students’ ability of autonomous learning. The theautonomous learning ability is closely related with the level of students’ learninginterest. This article main research teachers and students that are modern high schoolin Liangshan、experimental middle school in QingZhou、Dongguan huizhongmiddleschool in QingZhou、Fengshan middle school in QingZhou with methods of literaturestudy method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, comparative analysismethod. The research distributed490of students’ questionnaire, and received467which effective questionnaire are419that effective rate was89.7%;The researchdistributed40of teachers’ questionnaire, and received40which effectivequestionnaire are40that effective rate was100%. In generally, the questionnaire has astrong persuasion. The article ome to the conclusion by analysis,putting forwardcorresponding countermeasures and Suggestions which improved the students’ abilityof autonomous learning, promoting their aptitude,and provided the basis foranalysising the factors that affected the students’ interest in geography learning.The section of senior high school. By the investigation,Students are out of stepon like geography and the geography course.62%of the students like geography,but30%like the geography course. This means that Geography is able to cause thestudents’ interest as a natural science. The key is to find the reason that the students’don’t like. Based on choice of students, the article investigated personal reasons,teachers’ reasons, geography curriculum’s reasons,equipment and environment.The section of junior high school. The questionnaire used true-false to ensure thequestionnaire efficiently because they are in psychological development period in thebody,and various aspects are not mature. The questionnaire ensure the survey overallfrom five aspects that is the performance of students in geography class、geographylearning attitude under the class、geographical study method、geography teaching material evaluation、geography teacher evaluation,and there are64titles.According to the questionnaire analysis, the factors that affect geographycurriculum learning interest include:(1)Geography curriculum system design is notreasonable;(2)The influence of teachers’ quality and ability;(3)The relationship ofdistortion and limitations between teachers and students;(4)The influence of studentsthemselves;(5) the social environment. A series of countermeasures and suggestionsare raised:(1)The unit order of geography curriculum are reasonablearraged;(2)Adopting the diversified geography teaching mode;(3)Using thesituational teaching, active classroom atmosphere;(4)To create a harmoniousrelationship between teachers and students;(5)Adopting diversified ways of studentassessment;(6)Using "Google Earth" in geography teaching.
