Probability and mathematical statistics is an important branch of mathematics. It is a science that uses sure mathematics as a tool to study uncertain random phenomena and mines inner objective laws under external representation. Probability and statistics is widely used in production, life, scientific research. Therefore, probability and statistics in the high school mathematics teaching is paid more and more attention. Teaching and learning research about the high school probability statistics becomes particularly important.This article got some inspiration by emphatical contrast between new course standard and old teaching syllabus of probability statistics and by the classification of analysis of the university entrance exam causes in recent five years which it is easy to make mistake.Through the new curriculum standard and old teaching syllabus probability statistics teaching contents, scheduling, teaching requirements distribution contrast, this paper gets:(1) In the new curriculum standard the teaching of probability and statistics is increased the proportion. For example:knowledge is increased and special subject is also increased "Risk and decision, Worthy and test Preliminary design of test". (2) In teaching of probability and statistics more attention should be stressed on random thinking and practice ability. For instance:the establishment of random thoughts, the emerge of homogeneous random. (3) The new curriculum standard pays more attention to application of the information technology in the teaching of probability and statistics. Such as:the use of Monte Carlo method.This paper gets the following two points through the analysis to topic quantity, type, score proportion in causes of the university entrance exam from 2006 to 2010. (1) Probability and statistics in the university entrance exam is a proposition focus. (2) Classify knowledge which it is easy to make mistakes and which is often used for tests in the university entrance exam of probability and statistics and put forward some methods to solve them. Enable students to avoid losing points by the targeted special training.
