The study purpose is to investigate the existing problem of General Teaching Gymnastics in PE major of Hebei province, it also proposes solutions and provides a theoretical basis for students training. From the source to optimize teachers' quality, it contributed to a force to change the current gymnastics teaching and curriculum development.In this study, the research object was Compulsory Teaching of Gymnastics in Hebei Province, Using cluster sampling method to collect 650 students (mainly PE) and 40 gymnastic teachers at random and conducting a questionnaire survey to them; then 10 gymnastics experts were visited to interview on the National Games of Hebei Province though analyzing questionnaire data and interview, the research will find out the influence factors and correspond recommendations in Gymnastics Teaching of Hebei Province .Though Surveying Teaching Gymnastics of PE major in Hebei Province: 75.68% of schools' syllabus was focused on students' ability, Different college level had the same syllabus;80% teachers and 74% student thought that the college school had less class settings, especially LangFang Teachers College, which only had 34 hours; teaching and learning environment is obviously poor, HengShui College is the outdoor venues and HeBei Normal University hires training areas; the number of students arranged in the same class, the maximum number was 35; irrational teaching content and capacity-building were all lack of clear content; 100% teachers used traditional teaching model, which is main explanation and demonstration, the proportion of Modern teaching methods was small and teaching evaluation methods are simple. The results of main conclusions as follows:1. the objectives and tasks of General Teaching Gymnastics are clear in Hebei province. But different College and university had the same teaching levels and task.2. The teaching time of Gymnastics Course, the number of hours for each part of the set is reasonable in Hebei, but these can not meet the teaching hours. Irrational teaching content, emphasis on technology, students do not have the capacity to set clear, rational teaching content.General lack of venues and equipment, poor teaching environment. The specialist materials used are specified in Guidelines for undergraduate teaching gymnastics.3. Physical Education Department of Hebei Province Teaching Gymnastics Class Teaching organizational form to the main classes larger capacity, a new organizational form of teaching the use of low frequency. Traditional means and methods of teaching, and many more teachers on the demonstration, students practice based approach to teaching; modern teaching methods, methods, and good teaching and scientific research has not been applied.4. Hebei Gymnastics Sports Department of the majority of faculty teaching evaluation is only reflected in the assessment of students, assessment content for technical and theoretical aspects, the lack of assessment of student ability and teacher evaluation. Than a single assessment methods, theoretical closed book examination, technical evaluation by the instructors themselves.5. Gymnastics teachers are mainly young teachers of Hebei Province. Teacher's age, gender, education, job title overall structure is reasonable. Studies edge structure is irrational, based in Hebei Normal University graduates. Teachers, special ability, high level of scientific research; teaching good attitude; counseling to students after school to practice is not enough.6. Students of Physical Education Department of Hebei Province Gymnastics relatively strong interest in learning, motivation clear, with the right attitude; the basis of poor students.
