With the new round of curriculum reform, school-based educational research has emerged. School- based educational research came into being. It is not only the requirement of the curriculum, but also the development of professional teachers, the effective way to school and the development of the students. School-based educational research conducted with new curriculum is the current growth of our schools and teachers now, but also the focus of the educational reform. However, many problems are encountered in the process because of the various factors. So it can't achieve the desired effect. Due to the questionnaires and interviews, analyze the data and reasons on the English teachers of middle schools. According to these, the author put forward to the effective strategies: First, improve the school-based educational research systems constantly. Second, practice school-based educational research. Third, make the culture of school-based educational research better. Let's try to make English teachers of middle schools research and teach in better conditions and atmosphere.
