Teacher's Ethical Sensitivity of Teaching [EST] refers to the ability to appreciate and interpret the moral implication in teaching situation. It is logically initial psychological component during virtue teaching behavior produce. Based on systematical reviews on theories and empirical researches on Ethics of Teaching [ET] and EST, this dissertation finds that teacher's understanding of ET has the tendency of regularization and becoming apparent, which renders teachers fail keep alert to the implicit professional ethics. This dissertation consists of three empirical researches focusing on three core questions: (1) an investigation of the implicit theories on ET; (2) an analysis of the structure of EST across situations; (3) an investigation of the influencing factors of EST, conclusion and summary intervention strategies for the following study.Study 1 investigates the implicit theories on ET, based on an observation of 311 teachers. The findings were as follows: (1) teachers are of the opinion that ethics of teaching should consist of seven factors, such as responsibility and affection, incorruptibility and justice, instructional punishment, association separation, master sanctity, schoolwork attention, as well as understanding and encouragement; (2) compared with foreign experts'explicit view, teachers'implicit view emphasizes that researches should be oriented towards students'behavior; on the other hand, in comparison with the teachers professional morality standard, morality domain has not been distinguished from convention domain .Study 2 analyses the structure of EST situations based on an observation of 449 teachers and normal school students. The result is, (1) EST showed distinct cross-situational difference in the teaching field; (2) EST is a morally psychological structure composed of moral perception, awareness of consequence, moral emotion, but this test is not in conformity with the requirements of psychometrics, and has admissible reliability and validity..Study 3 investigates the influencing factors of EST based an interview of 21 teachers. The result indicated that, (1) teacher's EST is probably influenced by empathy, personality trait, individual role-involving, moral schemas, gender, cultural background, and so on. (2) the intervention strategies of teacher's EST includes: moral narration, model demonstration, role playing , development of implicit moral educational culture.
