The general level of P.E. teachers'mental health is not the same in different groups. The level of urban and rural 26-35-year-old P.E. teachers is the highest, and the level of urban P.E. teachers with associate degree is lower than that of rural P.E. teachers. The significant differences exist in obsession-compulsion, anxiety, phobia anxiety and depression in special. The conclusions this study are as follows:a.The general level of junior middle school P.E. teachers'mental health in Jilin province is lower than that of common people in our country.b.The general level of P.E. teachers'mental health in urban junior middle schools is higher than that of P.E. teachers in rural junior middle schools.c.The factors which influence urban P.E. teachers'mental health level are school, personal development and students. And the factors which influence rural P.E. teachers'mental health level are also school, the students and the personal development.d.There is a big difference between urban and rural P.E. teachers in working conditions, teaching facilities, educational background, welfare and remuneration and other aspects. With the comparison and analysis of the mental health level of urban and rural P.E. teachers in Jilin province, 4 suggestions are made in this thesis:a.Establishing a scientific education system, increasing education investment, and improving the treatment and status of P.E. teachers.b.Improving teacher evaluation and management system and creating an equal and democratic working environment for P.E. teachers.c.Raising awareness, enhancing our self-cultivation and developing a good interpersonal relationship with others.
