With the accelerating process of building a harmonious society, efforts to do agood job in the people’s satisfactory education, vigorously promote education leveland the balanced development of education, comprehensively strengthen rural nine-year compulsory education and so on, all is necessary for the current reform ofcomprehensive education. School PE is an important part of school education, and PEteachers are the schools sports practitioners, organizers, and directors. To strengthenthe PE teachers team construction, especially for the rural primary and secondaryschool is one of the hot issues in the current and future sports academic research. Butthe comparative research of basic status of urban and rural junior high school PEteachers in different regions is relatively weak. Therefore, this research uses theliterature material law, questionnaire survey method, interview method, comparativemethod and mathematical statistics method and starts with the basic situation of urbanand rural middle school PE teachers. Through the investigation and the comparativeanalysis,it aims to further understand the basic situation of urban and rural middleschool PE teachers of Ganzhou city, find out the gaps and problems between urbanand rural middle school PE teachers, and proposes the countermeasures for theregion’s education departments to strengthen the Ganzhou city urban and rural juniorhigh school PE teachers team construction, promotes the balanced development ofurban and rural school PE, PE teachers in urban and rural areas planning anddecisions. The results showed that:The proportion of men and women PE teachers in Ganzhou city urban and ruraljunior middle school is not reasonable, PE teachers tend to be younger in age structureis characteristic of Ganzhou city urban and rural junior high school PE teachers team,especially the young rural junior high school PE teachers; In terms of academicqualifications and titles structure, town junior high school PE teachers are better thanrural ones, but in teaching age structure, there is no significant differences; townjunior high school PE teachers pay higher than the treatment of PE teachers in ruraljunior high school, and class hour quantity for per week is in conformity with thestandards of Ganzhou city board of education; In the thesis, research on town betterthan the rural PE teachers, but less PE teachers host and participate in the project; Onthe level of foreign language and computer, PE teachers in town are better than ruralPE teachers.According to the research on the analysis of the basic status quo of PE teachersfully combined with the actual situation, adjust measures to local conditions, it putsforward the rational proposals of the urban and rural junior high school PE teachersteam gap; In the process of PE teachers team construction, we should attach greatimportance to the rural junior middle school sports work, bring into full play thepotential of rural PE teachers and increase investment in rural schools; Department ofeducation should give rural school PE teachers with more policy and better treatment,improve their qualities well as attaches great importance to increase the degree ofsports scientific research; Department of education also should improve the ways andcontents of PE, accord with the requirement of quality education, and make theschool own role fully play.
