Analysis Of The Intergenerational Social Mobility Of The Urban Poverty Population

Reasonable social mobility is to ensure that the basis for the healthy functioning of society, especially in a big gap between rich and poor societies. In this study, structured interviews and field observation methods of data collection, using mainly qualitative, quantitative and qualitative methods of combining a detailed analysis of the urban poor on behalf of the flow process and the subjective feelings, understand the generation of trends and changes in flow characteristics, analysis of various factors on the generation of internal flows, and flow of this group on behalf of the issues arising in the course of the summary and analysis.The study found that, the movement of the occupational status among the urban poor show the characteristics of U-shaped curve. Inflection point is the social transformation. In the laid-off before, most of the urban poor have stable jobs. In the flat, the overall proportion of high flow, the flow direction upwards rather than downwards. Laid-off led to severe downward mobility. Then, basically they were at the bottom level in mobility. Changes in the analysis of income shows that the absolute income level is slowly increased, but compared with the average income of society, the income gap rapidly larger. This group either in the occupational mobility, income changes, or changes of residence, can perspective that after the movement of flowing down, they stabilize in the social lowest level. Economical reforming which brings social structure's change and the resource distribution way's in which made them change into city stricken people were the most important two reasons. Generation flows is the primary reason, but individual factor flows to its generation in the influence also plays the certainly noticeable role. It can be said that not only economical reforming has created the down-flow objectively for the urban poverty, affected their subjective feeling. Under the market economy system, the country as a whole the control and the disposition appears to the resources becomes less crowded, but urban poverty, because holds the social resource insufficiency, ideology to be comparatively backward and themselves vulnerability, causes it basic to be unable to seize each kind of opportunity, on the surface they facing the diverse choice, but in fact the space of their chooses is very small, the social status of them presents the characteristic the solidification.
