The Characteristics Of Urban And Rural Population Movements In Changsha, Zhuzhou And Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration

Urban agglomeration is the main form of urbanization development.Rapid urbanization and industrialization generate frequent population mobility.The coordination of urban agglomeration of population and economic development deeply affects the level and structure of the regional economic development.The urban and rural coordinating development of Chang-Zhu-Tan urban agglomeration has entered rapid development stage.Its population mobility has become increasingly frequent,which urgently need to be reasonably guided and adjusted.The research on characteristics and influence factors of the urban and rural population mobility of Chang-Zhu-Tan can not only provide the reference for the further development of urban and rural integration of Chang-Zhu-Tan,but also is of great significance to promote the sustainable development of the regional population,resources,environment and economy society.Guided by the law of population migration,the push and pull theory,the dual economic structure theory,the demand of Maslow theory and the urban-rural integration theory,this paper selects the urban and rural population mobility in Chang-Zhu-Tan as the research object,summarizing characteristics at a long-term and a short-term level,using cross analysis and binary Logistic regression model to analyze influencing factors and proposing the corresponding adjustment and suggestions.The concrete research results indicated:(1)The migration of Chang-Zhu-Tan long-term variation characteristics.The gross scale and proportion of floating population has increased by years.It has become the largest proportion of floating population in Changsha.The floating population is concentrated in the urban and gives priority to with young workers.The proportion of women has increased gradually.They mainly engage in the tertiary industry.Their cultural levels are improving and the main migration reason is working or business.(2)The urban and rural migration of Chang-Zhu-Tan short-term characteristics.The floating population gives priority to with young and middle-aged,whose cultural levels are mostly high school and above.They mainly engage in the tertiary industry and earn monthly between 2000 and 6000 RMB.The rural-urban migration is the main direction of flow and visiting friends and relatives is the main migration reason.The largest population flow is in Changsha.The residence time is mainly a short-term.The unemployment of the floating population is more than the employment.Family is the main reason for the employment of the floating population choosing jobs.Most of the employment of the floating population will not change the workplace temporarily.(3)Influence factors.The main influence factors of the urban and rural population mobility of Chang-Zhu-Tan are the sense of personal needs and the power of economic push and pull.The secondary factors are the degree of social integration and the power of policy radiation.(4)Adjustment and suggestions.The measures have four aspects,including meeting demand,developing economy,promoting culture and improving mechanism strategy.
