Research On College Counsels' Training Based On Competence Model

The studies of competency model have been carried out broadly since it was brought forward. Theory and practice about competency model has played an important role in enterprise recruitment and training. It has gotten prominent achievement in human resources management. The study using the researches of competent theory structures college counselors training system with the competence model as basis, emphasis on training demands and training method.The main conclusions of this study are drawn as the following:(1) The most important training demands for college counselors are knowledge of law, psychology, writing,education and management,as well as abilities of giving directions to job.,etc. The most demanding factor includes professional knowledge and skills according to Six-factor model for college counselors.(2) The current training situation for college counselors is, many college haven't estabilished all-around training system for college counselors. Training content carried out most is job acknowledge and psychology education, the most important contents are psychology education, campus crisis handling, normal affairs and occupational planning. The way chose for traning includes subject lecture, seminar and training within college, using most is centralization teaching.(3) The construction of training system for college counselor includes analysis of training demand, design and implement of training as well as evaluating training. While analysing training demand, self evaluate competency questionnaire can be used as an instrument for investigation.(4) Directed towards different competency, training method may be different. Differentiating Competency training method can be differ from Threshold Competency.
