Research On The Effectiveness Of Ideological And Political Education Of Vocational College Students

Since the reform and opening up, especially the popularization of higher education, higher vocational education has seen explosive growth, having become the mainstay of higher education in China. In the face of confusion and problems involved, how to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of new period ideological and political education of college students including vocational college students in a practical manner has proved to be a question that calls for immediate solution. Great progress and much experience has been gained throughout the country in the last few years. In consideration of the constantly changing situations both at home and abroad, however, there are still aspects that are not in place or too weak and need to be further strengthened.In order to strengthen the effectiveness of vocational students' ideological and political education, this thesis, from the connotation of higher vocational education starting with, by investigating Tianjin Maritime Vocational Institute and some other higher vocational colleges, and combining with the practical characteristics of higher vocational college, points out the present situation of the ideological and political education of higher vocational students, and analyzes the factors which influence the effectiveness of higher vocational students' ideological and political education, and put forward the scientific design of principle and content about effectiveness construction of contemporary college students' ideological and political education, and try to explore the measures to strengthen the effectiveness construction of higher vocational students' ideological and political education. Namely, first, higher vocational colleges should use the theory of marxism and Chinese characteristic socialism theory as the ideological and political education of higher vocational students, and pay special attention to the ideological penetration in the teaching of Specialized courses, and realize the value of social practice to higher vocational students' ideological and political education, play the role of the teacher's behavior exemplary in the students work; Secondly, by creating excellent campus culture, strengthen the vocational students'sense of identity and trust to the school, and further to create the professional cultural atmosphere in campus; Finally, joint social, family and others to make better the effectiveness construction of higher vocational students' ideological and political education, and realize school, family and society's educating"three forces as one". Meanwhile, this thesis summarises some strategies and methods during the higher vocational instructor's work, in order to further strengthen the effectiveness of college students' ideological and political education.
