The Investigation Of Cross-Ethnic Marriage Under The Anthropology Perspective

China is composed of 56 ethnic groups so that his history is a colorful one that ethnic groups interacted and integrated with each other. During the process, the cross-ethnic marriage is natural. This article takes Lipai village in LongSheng county as field site, using anthropology theory and field method to investigate local cross-ethnic marriage between Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han five nations.In the part of Scanning the cross-ethnic marriage in Lipai village, the author describes the change of mate selection standard and the difference between having daughter-in-law and "recruit lang" in Lipai village. There are nine example of cross-ethnic marriage family, including the combination with Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han in Hou Rimeng's famili, the family combination with Zhuang, Miao, Yao in Shi Chongxiang's famili, the family combination with Zhuang And Han in Hou Faying's famili, the family combination with Zhuang And Han in Hou Xiangchun's famili, the family combination with Zhuang And Yao in Hou Zhengxiao's famili, the family combination with Zhuang And Dong in Shi Zhihui's famili, the family combination with Zhuang, Yao And Han in Hou Xiangheng's famili, the family combination with Zhuang, Han And Yao in Hou Guanglai's famili, the family combination with Zhuang, Yao And Dong in Shi Zhixian's famili, to demonstrate the broad and deed cross-ethnic marriage in Lipai village.In the part of perspective the cross-ethnic marriage in Lipai village, the author discussed four characteristics of the cross-ethnic marriage in Lipai village: universality, diversity, primitivism and adaptation. Meanwhile, the author discusses the factors that influence local cross-ethnic marriage from the geography, economy, polity and psychology and explores the significance of cross-ethnic marriage from cross-ethnic marriage and ethnic relations.In the multi-natioal country, the cross-ethnic marriage is one of the important criteria to study and measure ethnic integration. It can reflect the deep-seated problems of ethnic relations. The cross-ethnic marriage in Lipai village promoted further harmony of ethnic relations and provided one samples for China's national unity.
