Foreign language teaching has been more than hundreds history in China as a tool and ways of culture communication. Now, foreign language teaching is concerned about by National Education Department and more educators. In autumn of 2001, English became a course in primary school at a first time. Meanwhile, was released, its aim is that through the study of English language teaching, we can help students learn more differences between European or American culture and Chinese culture, establish a healthy lifestyle, foster patriotism, and lay a good foundation for lifelong learning for students. At this stage of basic education, English teaching is always given more responsibility.English teaching for primary and secondary middle school is a important stage of basis stages, two parts are complementary. After entering into the 21st century, Chinese education has done more deepening reform and development following the comprehensive development of economic and political. However, there are still wide gaps of English teaching between primary school and secondary middle school. For example, like student, teacher or teaching material, many parts of Education System between primary school and secondary middle school can not join together. Now, although this kind difficult of connection is widespread in whole country, it varies as difference levels of education development. If regional economy develops slowly, education in this place will be affected, and English teaching connection also will be more serious yet. In Ganzhou city, there are too many difference of English teaching among many primary schools. This phenomenon leads most primary students to produce an antipathy to English, even Learning Burnout, which seriously affects the quantity of English teaching during the stage of middle school.We adopted some qualitative research methods of literature study before writing this paper, and found that in China there are rare researches with regard to English teaching connection between primary schools and secondary schools. In this situation, we take Ganzhou city as a example to research this problem of English teaching connection. In 2001, Ganzhou local education departments commanded that primary schools should launch English lessons. Since English lessons launched, local primary schools have used five versions of English materials one after another. Now in this region, secondary schools use textbooks PEP which are common using in the country, in contrast primary schools textbooks have many versions what contents and difficulty are entirely different. Many students when they graduate from primary school achieve different English proficiency. To some extent, it caused convergence difficulties.We mainly take the theory of multiple intelligences and learning theory of Constructivism as theoretical basis in this study. And we use theory to guide practice through the combination of theory and practice. According to local districts'situation, we research primary schools and secondary middle schools'English teaching connection, aimed at analyzing what kind problems about English teaching connection and the reasons why they are caused. There are too many problems, like this, choosing textbook randomly, differences of teaching condition between primary schools and secondary schools, deviations of teachers'own quality, lacking of scientific evaluation system and so on. Under the guidance of theories, we will take over countermeasures and ways for English teaching connection problem.The research on problem of English teaching connection between primary schools and secondary middle schools is a long-term task which needs all educators to join them and work for them. This paper took over countermeasures and ways aimed at helping two teaching stages of primary schools and secondary schools realizing the continuity of English Teaching.
