Study On Realization Of Civil Society Of Cross-strait By The Development Of Non-profit Organization

In 1870s',the tide of democracy set off in many countries, then civil societytheory come back to life in the West. In 1890s',the study of civil society turn into thefocal point of academic circles of the mainland, and achievements in scientificresearch of civil society appear. With the research of civil society as a socialsubstance, the theorist started to pay attention to the theory of NPO that still remainedthe level of administration. The theory of civil society were closing to that of NPO.Under given social and history and cultured conditions, civil society in the mainlanddisplay weak and small, and the citizen has low consciousness autonomy and socialparticipate. Because NPO as autonomic social organize is main part and key elementof civil society, and it plays important rule in development and perfection of civilsociety .The high level of scale and independent of the NPO marks ripeness of civilsociety.In 1880s'NPO started to spring up in Taiwan. Now economy of Taiwan is tieddown by politics that it cannot affect steadily social basis of NPO. Because I work onthe affair of cross-trait relations,I have chance to touch with the people of Taiwanfrom lots of domains. So I can gather material of NPO of Taiwan which includes ofpresent condition , surpport of government , contribution to society and people's base,and so on. I also consult lots of opinions and discussions of scholars and academicachievements of universities of Taiwan. I choose the example of promotiog inregratedcommunity development of Taiwan, then discuss present condition of NPO of Taiwanand analyse its effect on development of democracy.I think there is a bottleneck indevelopment of cross-strait relations -that is democracy. By analysing, inducing andresearching, paper show the function of NPO on peaceful development and finalunification of cross-strait relations. Base on above, I advance some opinions on howto unfold NPO fo the mainland.
