Great changes have taken place in the teaching methods of teachers and the learning methods of students,by the continuous progress of the reform of basic education in China.The main manifestations are the enrichment of learning resources,the modernization of learning environment,the diversification of learning ways,the intelligence of learning tools,and so on.The comprehensive learning in the Chinese subject is arranged as an independent module into the junior middle school Chinese teaching material,after the new curriculum reform.However,the new form of comprehensive learning has become a difficult problem for teachers to carry out teaching.In order to solve this problem,the author explores new teaching methods actively,and constructs the inquiry learning model by using an online collaboration tool which applies it to the comprehensive learning of Chinese.The purpose of this paper is to solve the problems of low learning activity,single learning evaluation and low cooperative ability of students in comprehensive learning,and to provide a kind of reference paradigm for the majority of the teachers who are working in the front-line of educational circles.In this study,the researcher summarized and analyzed the related concepts,models and research status in the teaching of inquiry teaching,and described the characteristics of the inquiry learning model in detail,the basic steps and the feasibility of finding that application in the teaching.Meanwhile,taking comprehensive learning as the activity content,this paper constructs an inquiry learning model based on online collaboration tools,and applies the model to practical teaching to verify the effectiveness of the model in improving students' interest and ability.The action research method is mainly adopted in this study,which applies the inquiry learning mode to the comprehensive learning.Through two rounds of inquiry learning activities,the organization and development process of inquiry learning activities are constantly improved.After the practice,questionnaire and interview were conducted to the students,and data generated in the learning process were analyzed to verify the teaching effect and further test the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model.The research shows that the application of inquiry learning modestimulates students' interest in learning for junior high school comprehensive Chinese learning,and most students can participate in it actively,thus improving their comprehensive learning ability.The inquiry learning model and relevant teaching practice methods and processes constructed in this study are expected to provide reference for the majority of the teachers who are working in the front-line of educational circles.
