With the deepening of economic globalization and the rapid development of China's market economy, a multipolar world is being present. Meanwhile, the inter-subjectivity, as an important area of contemporary philosophy, also has increasingly attracted the concern of academics. Faced with this situation, inter-subjectivity theory will be applied to the ideological and political education with achieving the transformation of the current ideological and political education in terms of concept, objectives, contents, methods and other aspects. On the one hand, as an objective requirement, the application and transformation can solve the many difficult problems in the current ideological and political education; On the other hand, as an inevitable choice, it can also enhance the effectiveness and promote the modernization and scientification of ideological and political education.The turn of the inter-subjectivity of the ideological and political education is the specific application between the Marxist inter-relations theory and modern Western philosophy, which is the urgent need to solve the lack of initiative, targeted, effectiveness in the current ideological and political education. Through analyzing the respective profound influence on the main ideological and political education of the inter-subjectivity and the subjectivity of the ideological and political education, this paper finds the basis of transformation, motivation, as well as orientation of the turn and it raises the path to the turn of the inter-subjectivity. Therefore, this paper provides the scientific theory of reference and effective practice guidance for the further promote inter-subjectivity of ideological and political education.By means of the basic method of dialectical materialism and historical materialism to the ideological and political education, this paper focuses on integrating theory and practice. Including the introduction and body of two parts, the turn of inter-subjectivity of the ideological and political education runs through the whole paper. The body contains five parts. The first part defines the subject, object, subjectivity, inter-subjectivity, and respectively summarizes the characters of the subjectivity and inter-subjective of ideological and political education. The second part analyzes the basis of the turn of inter-subjectivity of ideological and political education, including the basis of theory and practical aspects. The third part analyzes the motivation of the turn of the inter-subjectivity of ideological and political education, from internal to external driving force. The fourth part discusses the orientation of the inter-subjectivity of ideological and political education, that is, the value of ideological and political education to the people-from a tool-oriented; ideological and political education model from unity to diversity; and the form of ideological and political education from the inculcation to the dialogic nature; According to the present ideological and political theory, the last part brings forward the path to the turn of the inter-subjectivity including the establishment of a scientific concept of ideological and political education, the optimization of the structure of the elements of ideological and political education, the innovational methods of work of ideological and political education and the advancing the quality of the ideological and political education workers.
