After a hundred years of development, University has gradually become complicated and structure-loose knowledge organization. Under the influence and impact of the era of knowledge economy, the traditional university management model is getting more and more out of the needs of the Times, and the cultural management is becoming the new means and new trend to solve university management problems. In university management process, the managers are beginning to pay attention to people-oriented, pay attention to the integration of values between teachers and students and management and university, pay more attention to the role of irrational factors compared with rational factors, with the university's organization values as the guide for management design and construction. The management methods of university cultural management show diversity and coordination characteristics of compatible.In the cultural management concept to examine the current university management, the main problems were found, such as values lacking, not value cultural construction, lacking of leadership mechanism, management system lacking, incentive system lacking, and so on. On that basis of the problems, this article analyzes the importance and urgency of the introduction of cultural management in our university. Cultural management is the development of the era of choice, is the inherent requirement of the management theory of development. Cultural management can effectively avoid the disadvantages of experience management and scientific management, and coordinate and deal with organizations and individual all-round development. University organization has the cultural management conditions and characteristics, and the world class universities'successful cultural management experience provide a good experience for the reference to our university management.According to our country's university management practice and under the guidance of the cultural management concept, China's university culture management countermeasures were put forward in this article. Firstly, university culture management philosophy should be established and taking the university spirit for the soul the organization values should be shaped. Secondly, the good university culture atmosphere should be build actively using various forms and means. Thirdly, smart principals and leadership team construction under the organization value guidance should be enhanced and the strategy of university development management should be implemented. Fourthly, the building project of university management system should be taken for realizing the harmony of man and system. Finally, the university management incentive mechanism should be perfected for teachers and self management and incentive.
