In modern economic society, helding sports events has become an important form and means of development of sports industry .Organizing sports events has a very significant role in fueling. for the economic development of urban areas Starting from the economic aspect , sporting events in urban areas can boost the construction, tourism, business, finance, insurance, information technology, transportation, telecommunications and other related industries, and thus promote economic development throughout the region. In the promotion of urban infrastructure construction while also offers a number of jobs. From the social and political terms, organizing sports events is good for to employment ,social stability and harmonious development , social and cultural life , the aesthetic taste, social emotions, social cohesion , quality of life, and socialist.Sports related economic benefits are already driven by the world attention, sporting events and therefore the development of the sports industry and have become an important strategy to stimulate the economy, however, China's output value for the specific sports events and still have not established a standardized evaluation model or method. The Existend relevant research have some different definitions in measureing the economic benefits of sports,such as different assessment data caused by the large difference.There no quantitative and qualitative standards, making it difficult to objectively compare different sports event benefits, or value the scale of sports events with specific data.The thesis refer to related literature, try to build a simple economic evaluation model of sporting events, in order to facilitate comparison for future research purposes, to provide a reference for the policy , when policymakers make decision or formulae economic strategy.
