Teacher Education Curriculum Content Selection Of Northwest Normal University In New Curriculum Context

Education is a basic to a long-range program. In the knowledge-based society, the competition of Comprehensive national power relays on talents. However talents are trained by faculty. From this point, quality of faculties is becoming more and more important. In the context of higher school new curriculum reform, the paper's research object is about the selection of curriculum content from faculty in Northwest Normal University. Through the analysis of questionnaires, we find that current course can not reflect the rationale of curriculum reform and give some suggestion about that.The first chapter is instruction including origin of my research, literature summarize, thought and method of research, creativity on research etc.The second chapter is about new curriculum reform's demand to higher school teachers. I first introduce the project, rationale and character on new curriculum reform; Then I discuss the standards of selection course content and the curriculum reform's demand to course content.The third chapter is about system analysis to current situation. From the content of professional course, education course, comprehensive course and practice course, I find some problems of course content on this subject.The forth chapter give five basic principles of selection course content based on higher school course objectives on ideological and political education course. The five principles are pioneering, basic, comprehensive practical and humanity.The fifth chapter is an outlook on the selection of faculty education course content which including opening academic seminar, emphasizing the supply of non-basic discipline, strength general education and capability training.
