Chinese Culture is broad and profound, well-established, which is not only ournation’s precious treasure, but also the foundation and soul of the Chinese nation.Chinese Culture is rich connotation, distinct national characteristics, many of whichare suitable for children’s physical and psychological development. According to thelaw of children’s physical and psychological development, the curriculum contentsimparted to children, which are selected from the excellent, positive, healthy ChineseCulture with national characteristics, can promote children’s understanding ofChinese Culture and enhance national pride and self-confidence. So, putting theenlightenment education curriculum of Chinese Culture into the kindergartencurriculum contents, it makes important significance to developing nationalconsciousness and emotions.However, not all Chinese Culture contents are suitable for children to learn. Weshould be in accordance with the law of children’s physical and psychologicaldevelopment,"accept the good and reject the bad." To make children understand theenlightenment education of Chinese Culture and improve national consciousness, weneed to study the selection and classification of the kindergarten enlightenmenteducation curriculum contents of Chinese Culture.It is necessary to study the selection and classification of the kindergartenenlightenment education curriculum contents of Chinese Culture. On the “guidelinesfor Kindergarten Education (for Trial Implementation)” and “Guidelines for theLearning and Development of Children Aged3~6”as the guiding ideology, followthe law of children’s physical and psychological development, combined with thecharacteristics of Chinese Culture. The present paper altogether divides into threeparts:The first part is an overview of Chinese Culture, the enlightenment education ofChinese Culture and the kindergarten enlightenment education curriculum contentsof Chinese Culture. The second part is the selection of the kindergarten enlightenment educationcurriculum contents of Chinese Culture. This section combined with the law ofchildren’s physical and psychological development and the characteristics of ChineseCulture, is discussed in detail about the foundation, the principles and methods of theselection of the kindergarten Chinese Culture enlightenment education curriculumcontents.The third part is the classification of the kindergarten enlightenment educationcurriculum contents of Chinese Culture. This section describes the value of theclassification of the kindergarten Chinese Culture enlightenment educationcurriculum contents, as well as the specific classification of the classification of thekindergarten Chinese Culture enlightenment education curriculum contents.
