This research has classified the influencing factors for the deceptive behavior of the students in elementary school and junior middle school into 4 types sex , intelligence , age , and teacher?s instructing language , and through the way of double blind design and the quasi--experiment design in field study , the first research on the influencing factors was made from June 4 to 18 ,1999 to 186 Grade I junior middle school students , while the second from december 6 to 22 ,1999 to 347 Grade 3, 4, 5 elemmentary school students , and the research results show that (1). There is a general existence of the deceptive behavior among both the junior middle school and the elementary school students. (2). There is not a distinct difference between the school boys and school girls (sex variable) as for the deceptive behavior (3). The intelligence factors affect the students?deceptive behavior to a certain degree. (4). The age factors affect the elementary school students?deceptive behavior to a certain degree. (5). The different instructing languages used by teachers affect the elementary school students?deceptive behavior to a certain degree. (6). The research proves the conclusion of the onest Test ?held by Hartshorne and May the deceptive behavior under a certain circumstance can well serve as good grounds for the prediction of the deceptive behavior under the similar circumstances.
